FAQs
1. What is beef tallow, and why is it used in skincare?
Beef tallow is a nutrient-dense fat rendered from beef. It's rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and its fatty acid profile is remarkably similar to our skin’s natural oils—making it deeply nourishing, healing, and anti-inflammatory.
2. Where does your tallow come from?
We use 100% grass-fed Wagyu beef tallow from happy, healthy cattle raised in Alberta, Canada. We have direct relationships with our farmers and are committed to ethical, transparent sourcing.
3. Is Rawface suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our tallow balm contains no synthetic fragrances, preservatives, or fillers—just pure, skin-loving ingredients that support even the most sensitive skin types.
4. How do I use the product?
Warm a small amount between your fingers and gently massage onto clean skin. Use it as a daily moisturizer, night treatment, or spot treatment for dry areas. Can be used on face or body.
5. How should I store it?
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Natural texture changes may occur, but this won’t affect the quality.
6. Why don’t you whip your moisturizer like most company’s do?
We keep our tallow un-whipped for a reason. Whipping adds air, which can speed up oxidation and reduce shelf life. It also disrupts the natural structure of the fat, potentially weakening its nutrient density and absorption. At Rawface, we believe in keeping things as close to nature as possible — no fluff (literally), no fillers. Just pure, nutrient-rich tallow the way your skin actually wants it.
7. Is it safe for kids or during pregnancy?
Yes. We source only from farms with the highest standards of animal welfare. No animals are harmed for the sole purpose of our product.
